The director of human resources is responsible to oversee, guide, and evaluate the human resource and payroll administration functions. This includes employee training, information sessions, and human resource operational policies and procedures.
The director provides guidance and advice to the College’s leadership on all human resource functions, including performance management escalation and offboarding.
The human resources team is responsible to plan, organize and direct the daily operations of human resource and payroll functions. They provide guidance and advice to leaders and employees (see Our Services). The team develops and facilitates manager training workshops and employee retirement information sessions (see Training).
The payroll and benefits team is responsible for the accurate and timely provision of full cycle payroll administration. This includes payroll processing, payroll and benefits general ledger accounts reconciliation, year-end preparation, T4/T4A generation, and report generation for financial and pension audits.
The CRNA leaders maintain awareness and comply with human resources operational policies and procedures. They provide information about policies and procedures to the employees under their supervision.
Employees are responsible for reviewing and being knowledgeable about the CRNA's human resources operational policies. Employees are expected to comply with all policies and procedures in conducting their work.
